چکیده

In the conventional IP network, equipment has been managed by periodical SNMP polling and periodical ping by a network management system (NMS), and traps have been used when abnormalities occur. But it is difficult to operate a service related to network state changes by such a management method because IP network services are best-effort services, so they may be affected by other multiplexed traffic. In order to solve such problems, we propose a detour path resource management method for IP networks. We discuss its advantages and how to overcome problems and verify that IP network resource management that includes detour path management is sufficient for practical use.

Detour Monophonic Graphoidal Covering Number of Corona Product Graph of Some Standard Graphs with the Wheel

A chord of a path $P$ is an edge joining two non-adjacent vertices of $P$. A path  $P$ is called a monophonic path if it is a chordless path. A longest $x-y$ monophonic path is called an $x-y$ detour monophonic path. A  detour monophonic graphoidal cover of a graph $G$ is a collection $psi_{dm}$ of detour monophonic paths in $G$ such that every vertex of $G$ is an internal vertex  of at most on...

A QoS Distributed Transport Architecture

A contribution for the definition of a distributed transport architecture in a global Quality of Service (QoS) framework within TCP/IP stack is presented in this paper. A new distributed transport strategy is suggested, making use of dynamic transport agents located strategically along the end-to-end path. Dynamic QoS management, focused on transport layer based QoS adaptation for tolerant mult...
